Top Notch Resource: Amaze.org

Amaze and Amaze Jr are the two resources I recommend most. Some people may say the videos are ‘cheesy’ but I think they are perfectly mild and easily digestible.

Amaze Jr is an excellent resource for helping parents understand developmentally age-appropriate content and exactly what the child may be asking.

Amaze is an excellent informational resource AND as way to initiate conversations with children beyond age 5. The fun, animated videos are a way to break the ice. The videos are short and manageable, so a parent can preview it, then watch with a child. Watching a video and having a little chat every so often is a great way to open the lines of communication between child and adult. Over time the conversations become less “cringy” and the path between parent and child becomes forged.
